My name is Cindy T. I've lived in the MAC or PC world since 1982. I don't have much time for 'interests' in the traditional sense. I work full time during the week managing and creating graphic based material for a small faucet manufacturer. On the weekends I visit big box office and electronic stores as a printer manufacturer's rep.
I love yoga class although I've had to be away from it because of time constraints lately. In my 'down time' I list on Ebay (mostly books). I get great satisfactiion from finding answers to things I don't know on the internet. And, I enjoy sharing tips, shortcuts and useful information with co-workers to help them do their jobs more easily.
I hope, through this and other classes, to be able to update and enhance our company website. Its been neglected for years and has gotten stale. And to use multi-media tools to communicate company information. I'm seeing an increase in the use of 'virtual trade shows', online demonstrations, and more interactive how to's. These are areas we need to start paying attention to.
I'm concerned that I don't really have the creative skills/background/knowledge to effectively use what I learn. And that I may not learn enough to put it to practical use when the semester is over.
